Chalcedony (kal-SED-ə-nee) is a semi-precious gemstone that is composed of very fine intergrowths of quartz and moganite. Chalcedony has a waxy luster, and may be semitransparent or translucent. It can assume a wide range of colors, but those most commonly seen are white to gray. These pieces are a gorgeous soft pink color.

These pieces were designed and crafted by one of P. A. Jewelers local jewelry artist, David Hart. The are made of both .925 sterling silver and .999 fine silver. Mr. Hart does not cast his pieces, so the depth you see in each piece is layers of silver on top of silver.
